Crystal was our Doula with our youngest daughter. This was an especially special birth because she was our "rainbow baby" after our son was stillborn a year prior. Crystal was so incredible during my entire pregnancy, the birth and still gives so much solid advice and wisdom 10 months later. She is soft, supportive and knowledgable in the delivery room. We are so thankful that she made the journey with us as we gave birth to our daughter and that she has continued with me in my journey breastfeeding and having a new baby. She helped me reach my goals of birth without pain medication and she supported all of my decisions. She walked with me after the birth to process the things that didn't go according to plan and in that I was able to fully embrace my story, and I am so thankful for that. Mindy

I had another doula hired when I met Crystal, and when I met her I knew right off the bat that she would be the perfect fit for my husband and I.  She was assertive, had many pain relief options and was confident that she could meet the needs that I wanted.  When I had questions, she welcomed the phone calls and texts when I needed her.  I had an induction, so I knew that was going to be a lot of work for her and she was up for the challenge.  She helped us through a back labor, pitocin induced labor, and guided my husband to be as involved as we both wanted.  I have had a doula before, and honestly she surpassed my expectations.  I could not have asked for a better doula to help us through such an amazing birth.  Even after two children she still educated me on options like delayed cord clamping.  I am truly grateful for Crystal’s involvement and her guidance.  Lauren

My husband and I interviewed Crystal when I was about 20 weeks pregnant and before she had doula’d any births.  We were immediately impressed with her extensive research based knowledge and the confident calmness that she brought to the table.  We hired her on the spot, and it was one of the best decisions we made regarding the birth of our first child.  My labor was unique in that my hips were out of alignment and the baby was malpositioned.  With Crystal, I achieved the natural/drug free childbirth I had planned despite these setbacks.  I honestly don’t think myself or my husband could have done it without her.  Without her, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to labor in whatever position I wanted, and we were in all kinds of them. J Without her, I wouldn’t have seen a chiropractor during labor. This certainly helped things progress and was a much needed treatment since my hips were out of alignment.  WithoutCrystal, I wouldn’t have felt normal during the most intense parts of labor.  She took care of me (and my husband) so well.  We are graced out to have had her at the birth of our first born! I can’t speak highly enough about her, and she will be there for the births of any children we may have in the future.  Cassie

I went into labor at 37 weeks and needless to say, was not totally prepared. We had the childbirth class with Crystal scheduled for the next day. My husband had zero knowledge of natural childbirth and how to help me. Crystal helped us so much along the way, though. She was quick to answer all my questions when I was unsure if I was really in labor and she was at our house minutes after we asked her to come. She knew just what I needed and her suggestions for pain relief helped immensely. She was so encouraging and calm but directive. My husband was actively involved with her guidance and after it was all over he said it was so worth it to have a doula and he would pay her triple what we paid just knowing how invaluable her help was. For me, I can honestly say that I would have chosen to get an epidural if Crystal was not there. And I am so glad she was, because I had the most amazing birth experience and walked away feeling so strong and empowered. I just hope we are still living here when we have our next child so Crystal can attend that birth as well. Laura

My family invited Crystal to be the doula in the birth of my first grandchild.  She was very supportive in the weeks before my granddaughter's early arrival .  Meeting with my daughter to answer questions and encourage her in learning about the birth experience in order to choose the method of delivery was important.  When the birthing began earlier than expected Crystal was with us as soon as my daughter called.  Crystal's wide knowledge of hospital procedure helped my daughter and her husband have the birth experience they desired.  Crystal's calm and suggestions and encouragement during the stressful times of the birth helped us all keep a level head and join in helping my daughter through the birth.  Because of their meetings together Crystal could inform, professional to professional, the nursing staff of the wishes of my daughter that smoothed the way.  As the future grandmother I appreciated having another woman in the room that was  knowledgable about the person who is my daughter with us during the birth so I could concentrate on being of help and support  to my daughter and her husband as they needed.  After the birth Crystal willingly answered my daughter's questions with more information and suggestions in caring for my granddaughter, helping my daughter become a wonderful mom.  She was also helpful in answering many postpartem questions soothing the worries expressed.  I wish I had a person like Crystal during the pregnancies and births of my 6 children. I would definately recommend Crystal to be a part of the birthing process in your pregnancy. Marion

Crystal did a great job reminding me to relax and encouraging me that I was doing a good job.  Constant support was offered and she helped me redirect my concentration to the final outcome.  It was a very positive experience!

I felt well prepared thanks to Crystal and was able to work through labor effectively. She made sure my needs and desires were known and met.  I fully believe that without Crystal's help I would not have been able to do this!  By her coaching and her prescence, she gave me a calm that I needed to get through this experience.  She is absolutely amazing and I don't know what I would've done without her!   Jessica

Crystal was my Doula for the birth of my second child, we had a home waterbirth. She was so fabulous. My son was born two weeks and two days past my EDD. Crystal was very supportive and encouraging when I was so frustrated and feeling down because I was so ready to have my baby. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She knew that during my labor I needed to keep laughing and she helped us keep up with the jokes and laughs. But she also knew when the laughing needed to stop so I could labor. She is a very intuitive and beautiful person inside and out and I am honored to have called her my Doula. Kandyce

I can't imagine what I would have done during my pregnancy and birth without Crystal!  She was always there to answer my many questions and I knew I could text or call about anything if I was not sure what was going on.  During the week leading up to the birth of our son she stayed in constant contact with me and guided be through each step leading to the delivery.  As much as I was glad to have her at our birth, my husband was also glad that she was there to help him know how to best support me.  She came to our house and helped me get through the contractions and by the time I got to the hospital I was already at 9cm!  Without her there is no way I could have dilated that fast!  Hannah

I was introduced to Crystal at a Doula educational event at our local library when I was in my first trimester.  I never had a Doula for my other two births and was completely new to natural birth and Doulas.  Crystal was very friendly and informative right from the start.  Her calming voice and persona made it apparent that she would work well with our family.  Labor seemed to come early for me, several weeks before my due date, and Crystal helped me through it.  My labor stalled out and I ended up being in early labor for weeks before the actual birth. I was frustrated and slightly embarassed that I had to keep calling and texting Crystal, but she didn't seem to mind.  The time came for the birth and Crystal was there and was by my side and very non-judgmental.  My birth moved very quickly and she kept encouraging me when I wanted to give up.  This was my first natural birth and having a Doula like Crystal helped me stick to my guns and have the birth experience I never knew I wanted.  Thank you, Crystal! My husband and I moved here to Wichita Falls in April with the military and our 3rd child was due in June.  I contacted Crystal Snider and she was more than willing to be our doula even with such short notice!  We met with her and knew right from the start she would be amazing!  She gave us so much information on issues I did not know we had a choice on.  She had a lot of resources available for us and gave us places to go to research so we could have our perfect birth plan.  I wish every woman was aware of the choices they have and the resources available, thank God for Crystal.  Not only was she knowledgeable, but she was there every step of the way making sure things were going okay and offering advise.  I went into labor during early evening and called to let her know.  She gave me multiple tips to help me through the laboring at home.  She kept in close contact with me throughout the entire night until I was ready for her to meet me at the hospital.  My husband and I arrived at the hospital and she was right behind us.  Once we got into the room she was by my side supporting and helping me the entire time.  She kept reminding me of the things we talked about and helped me stay on track with my plan.  A support person like Crystal is essential!  Having Crystal as our doula was such a positive experience.  I highly recommend her!
